Why We Created This Workshop
"The truth is, I never expected sourdough to become one of my favorite things to teach.
For years, I was deeply immersed in the world of fermentation.
I've brewed kombucha.
I've fermented vegetables.
I've made sauerkraut.
I've fermented eggs.
I've explored countless ways to preserve food and support wellness through traditional preparation methods.
But sourdough?
That intimidated me.
Not because of the fermentation.
Because of the baking.
I'm not naturally a baker.
I don't enjoy measuring ingredients down to the gram. I prefer cooking by intuition, tasting as I go, and creating from instinct.
The thought of spending weeks creating and maintaining a gluten-free starter only to end up with a dense loaf, a failed recipe, or wasted ingredients felt frustrating.
As someone who is gluten-sensitive myself, I also knew that quality gluten-free bread can be expensive, difficult to find, and often filled with ingredients that don't align with how I want to nourish my body.
So I waited.
And researched.
And tested.
And eventually, I found a gluten-free sourdough recipe that changed everything.
It was approachable.
It was delicious.
It was repeatable.
And most importantly—it felt achievable.
Today, it has become my mission to help other gluten-sensitive and celiac individuals discover that making fresh, organic gluten-free sourdough bread at home doesn't have to be complicated."
